spoilt weekend

perhaps everytime we approach the weekend.. i have something in mind.. eventhough i know it might not materialize... i still have the hope that it may work out the way i want it.. and i guess i had one before weekend starts.. and it's now saturday night.. and i think it's not working the way i want it to be.. cause i'm beyond frustrated..

Not for the faint hearted

Travelling with a toddler is not as easy as it seems..Especially when we were on the 6.40 am flight which means i had to wake up at 4.30 am, which resulted in ammar's waking up at 4.45 am.. not happy as always cause he still needs another 2 hours of sleep..

And the subang airport is not much help either.. under renovation, seating area is very sikit.. and we had to wait until 6 am only to be able to masuk the boarding area and allow me to pray.. and praying subuh while ensuring ammar is safe is another thing.. thank god he was happily strapped in the stroller.. and then when he finally fell asleep again before boarding.. 5 mins later.. we have to board the plane. so i had to carry a sleeping ammar on one hand, diaper bag on the same hand.. and close my stroller with another hand.. leading ammar to be awake again! so we spent almost the whole journey with ammar being mr mayor and saying hi to all the stewardess.. eating muffin until the whole place is so semak that this mommy had to wipe everything.. and finally, about 5 mins before landing, he fell asleep..

again, had to angkat the boy while he's sleeping all the way to the terminal which is only accessible by double flight staircase! lucky me there's a pakcik whose kind enough to carry the stroller for me.. afterwards it is much easier.. me finding the taxi counter.. carry ammar to the taxi.. put him in while he's still sleeping.. close the stroller.. and enjoy the 30-min cab ride until we reach the hotel..

since ammar is already on formula but still feed from me at night, i pack everything in my diaper bag..including air panas, air masak, crackers, milk.. including extra diaper, extra clothes for him.. for me.. ive got it all covered from all aspects.. but it was quite difficult getting him to drink his milk from the bottle when everything is hectic and chaotic.. feeding him directly is definitely the ultimate thing! makes everything MUCH EASIER!!

But i have learned the art of making muka selamba when ammar's crying like there's no tomorrow because he's cranky or he wants to do something yang tak boleh dibuat.. and everyone looking at you like you are the evil mother.. oh well.. they just have to live with it!

But penang trip was fun! more on that laterssss

dah 4 hari KL tak hujan... panasnyaaaa.... tido malam walaupon ber aircond masih boleh rasa bahang.. tak keruan jadiknya.. i really really prefer the rainy season than the hot and dry.. sebab kalau hujan boleh masuk bawah duvet and tido! bliss nyer perasaan tu. kalau panas.. tido pon sakit kepala.. tgk tv pon berpeluh2.. nak masak? lagi laa menambahkan kepanasan...

on a different note, shopped like crazy during the weekend.. MPH warehouse sale was awesome!!! bought a gazillion books at a fraction of their original price.. gumbira gumbira!!! i got the book by jo frost, the supernanny.. the go green book - gorgeously green.. and many many moree.. kepuasan hati yang tidak terhingga.. Metrojaya warehouse sale sangat padat dan mampat! kalau stadium tu runtuh atau terbakar, memang sangat la tak selamat.. the price was okay okay jer.. cause the next day tu.. similar price for similar items at the curve living quarters punya sale.. buang masa saja saya ke shah alam..

and we went to the zoo!!! yang agak smelly.. maybe because of the heat? busuknya sangat membuatkan nak termuntah.. conclusion? ammar is a tad too small for the zoo.. we were the excited ones showing him elephant and giraffe and tiger.. he is only interested in the birds!!! so i guess bird park is next in the agenda..

hubby left for penang this morning.. so im bunking at mom and dad's .. penakut tak saya nih??? ada kemudahan.. gunakanlah... but come saturday, we'll join him too!!! nak pekena nasi kandar laa.. any other food suggestion??? in the melantak mode.. plus buy cheap dvds!! hehehehe

sekali lagi maid telah berjaya menaikkan kemarahan ku.. sungguh pandai menjawab maid ini.. nasibla saya jenis tak reti nak maki.. ada ke patut die cakap barang rosak sebab memang dah nak rosak?? padahal die buat kerja macam gergasi! kelentung kelentang sana sini... hishhh sabar je laa.. kan ke best kalau tak payah ada maid tapi ada nursery yg okay??? dilema dilema..

This weekend is a warehouse sale weekend.. yippeeeeeee!!!!

Early next morning, MUST go early to MPH warehouse sale.. must find good books at cheap price for myself and Ammar.. should we bring ammar along??? hmmm... that remains a question

Metrojaya sale at shah alam.. must go and buy perfume and cushions.. hopefully ada la...

and tonite?? monthly grocery shopping at tesco!!! lets hope hubby comes home early! :-)

penang trip.. i want!!!

Hmm.. lama pulak rasanya tak update.. what have we done so far?

Last weekend, proses penggantungan gambar2 oil painting yang dibeli di Bali.. bestnyerrrrr.... atleast some of my walls are not that kosong anymore.. and i managed to do a drilling session with my maid.. basically, i showed her all the nitty gritty things that i dont like.. like the habuk2 at places yg org tak nampak but i know is there... and i have made new sets of timetable for her.. all the laundry that has to be handwashed will be washed at my mom's place when ammar is asleep.. so by the time i come back, those are already ironed and done.. at home, she just have to settle baju2 yang machine washed.. which is not that often.. once in 2 or 3 days.. at other times when she has nothing to do at night.. she cleans the house (not mopping or menyapu) but more of the small2 things like lap2 furniture and things like that..

As a result, i think this week my house is spick and span!!! best gilerr okay bile tau kalau lalukan jari dekat mana2 area utk spot check takde habuk! and she still gets to sleep at 9 pm which is freakishly early! which is almost the same as ammar's night time..

hubby will be going to Penang next week for a PK PC conference again! really want to come along but next week is quite a full week for me.. the only way is to go there on saturday and come back sunday.. with ammar in tow of course.. so if jadi, this is the first time i'll be travelling with ammar alone naik flight.. hmm.. lets see how that goes!

ratatouile??? NON!!!

I hate tikus!!! and unfortunately my house had been infested with them!! :-(

my fault really.. when the bi-monthly pest control guy came last two months, i personally said to them, im stopping the rat and lipas thingy cause im afraid ammar would find the poison and eat them.. without us noticing... and one month after that... tikus bermaharajalela di rumah ku!! i noticed it when i was kemasing the store.. but couldnt find it.. and then, one nite, when i was in the kitchen... panggil hubby and we managed to kill this rat... ingatkan dah settle.. tapi after the bali trip, hubby said he saw two but only managed to kill one at 3 am in the morning!!!! euuuww...

so monday, i called the pest control and we resume the normal tikus poison and hide it carefully so that ammar wont makan.. but last night.. i heard them running on my ceiling!!! huhuhuhu... stress nyerrrrr................. going to sleep, on alarm.. and 10 mins later... alarm berbunyi dgn sangat kuatnya cause the sensor kat roof tu detect the stupid rats running around.. it's already been a few times that the alarm went off because of rats!!!

the pest control guy said it will take a couple of days before the rats actually eat the poison.. so we have to be patient.. :-( geli!!!!!!!! i cant wait for this ordeal to be over!!!
